FCHS is a privately run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, tax ID 43-1244655, dedicated to serving the homeless, abandoned, and lost dogs and cats in our area. We incorporated in 1981 and operated as a foster network for homeless pets for 13 years. In 1994, we opened our current shelter location in Union, Missouri.

FCHS is partnering with national nonprofit Petco Love to give pets their best shot for a healthy life by hosting a free pet vaccine event on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 9:00 am-1:00 pm at the Union Fire Station
Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters Reduced Adoption Fees May 1st through 15th, 2024.
We are partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation during their Empty the Shelters event to offer all dogs 6 months and older at reduced adoption fee of $50. All cats/kittens will be offered for adoption at a reduced fee of only

UPDATE: We had a phenomenal turn out to for this clinic! We administered 123 dog distempers and 24 cat distempers for FREE; 129 dog rabies and 22 cat rabies, 23 microchips and 48 heartworm test for dogs! Thank you to
