Adopting a Working Cat
Occasionally, we identify cats that have a “semi-friendly” demeanor but won’t adapt to indoor living. They may have a high prey drive or are unable to be trained to use a litter box due to behavioral issues. Felines who fit this description are determined by our staff to be candidates for our “Working Cat” adoption program. Working Cat might be appropriate for placement in certain businesses, barns or families. Adopters must agree to provide regular food, water, shelter and appropriate veterinary care. Our adoption fee for a Working Cat is $50.00. This fee covers the spay/neuter surgery and current vaccinations. An extra $25.00 is required for microchip identification if desired.
