Strut Your Mutt April 29, 2023 – Noon – 4:00p.m.

Booths of dog items and refreshments will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit our shelter.

12:00 pm – Check-in begins. Pick up your “wag” bag items.

12:30 pm – We invite everyone to join an organized Strut Your Mutt dog parade down Front Street in downtown Washington, MO.

1:15 pm – Judging for contests begins. We will select a Best Dressed Dog, Biggest Dog, Smallest Dog, Best Dog and Walker Look-A-Like, Best Dog Costume and Best Dog Trick.

2:00 pm – The Franklin County Sheriff’s K9 unit will demonstrate K9 skills.

2:45 pm – Dry Creek Bloodhounds demonstration.

3:15 pm – Purina dog tricks and disc dog demonstration.

Meet and socialize with dog lovers, shop for new and gently used pet items, purchase lunch, and Strut Your Mutt all to benefit our pets.  Dogs Must Be Registered to Participate in the Parade and Contests. Participating dogs must be up to date on vaccines.

Early Bird Registration is $25.00 per dog by April 14, 2022. Early Bird registrations are guaranteed a T-shirt (you select size) and other “Wag” bag items.  Instead of a T-shirt, you can choose a crewneck sweatshirt, hoodie sweatshirt, or zip-up jacket, prices vary.

Late Registration is $30.00 per dog and is accepted from April 15, 2022 – The morning of the event. Late registrations will receive a T-shirt (sizes vary),  and other “Wag” bag items on a first-come, first-served basis according to the registration date.

We would love to see pictures of you enjoying the event. Email your pictures to laura@fchsmo.org by 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Be sure to include the names of dogs and participants.
