FCHS is partnering with national nonprofit Petco Love to help pets live healthier lives by hosting a free pet vaccine event on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Union Fire Station #1, 1401 West Springfield Ave., Union, MO 63084.
Thanks to Petco Love, we are offering free vaccines for parvovirus, distemper, and panleukopenia to help protect pets from contagious and deadly diseases.
Event Details:
✅ Drive-through, first-come, first-served
✅ Cats must be in sturdy carriers (one cat per carrier)
✅ Dogs must be on non-retractable leashes
✅ Participants will complete a registration form upon arrival. An FCHS staff member will transport pets from vehicles to the vaccination area and return them once vaccinations are complete.
✅ Free vaccines available through Petco Love include DAPPv for dogs and HCP for cats
Additional Discounted Services:
💉 Rabies vaccine – $15
🩺 Dog heartworm test – $10
📍 Microchipping (includes registration) – $25
Cash payments only for additional services.

- Services are available for dogs and cats only
- Vaccines, including rabies, will be administered only by a licensed veterinarian
- The event team reserves the right to refuse services if a pet poses a danger to others
This free vaccine event is part of Petco Love’s national vaccination initiative, providing one million free pet vaccines to animal welfare partners like FCHS to help protect family pets.
