Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters Reduced Adoption Fees December 1 – 11, 2022.

UPDATE:  93 pets were adopted during the BISSELL Pet Foundation Holiday Hope event.  Congratulations to all of the families welcoming new furry family members!!  We are especially grateful to those who have to wait to bring their pets home until spay and neuter surgeries can be completed.

We are partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation during their Holiday Hope event to offer all dogs over one-year-old at a reduced adoption fee of $25. All cats and kittens have a reduced adoption fee of $25.  BONUS: Adopt one cat or kitten for $25 and get the second one for FREE.  The BPF Empty the Shelters reduced adoption event runs from December 1st – December 11th. We will be open for extended hours on Sunday, December 4th from 12:00 – 3:00 pm for adoptions only.

We are at critical capacity with 233 pets in our care, more than double our daily average of 110.  New pets become available for adoption each day so visit our adoptable pets tab Adopt – Franklin County Humane Society (fchsmo.org) or stop by our shelter to meet your new best buddy!  Cats housed at Petco and PetSmart in Washington, MO, Petsense in Sullivan MO, and Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO are also eligible for this reduced adoption fee event.

Special evening kitten and cat adoptions will be available at PetSmart in Washington from 5 pm – 7 pm on December 1st, 6th, and 8th.
