Franklin County Humane Society is proud to partner with BISSELL Pet Foundation for Empty the Shelters, the nation’s largest funded adoption event. From July 6 through July 26, 2026, reduced adoption fees will help more orphaned pets find the loving homes they deserve.
Every adoption not only changes the life of one pet, it also creates space for another animal in need to receive care, shelter, and a second chance.
Event Adoption Fees
Dogs (4 months and older): $50
Cats & Kittens: $25
Adopt two cats or kittens and the second adoption fee is FREE!
All adoptions include age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, a microchip, and other age-appropriate veterinary care.

Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

To help even more pets find homes during Empty the Shelters, Franklin County Humane Society will also be open for adoptions only on:
