Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters Reduced Adoption Fees October 2nd through 15th, 2023.

UPDATE: Thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation, we were able to complete 71 adoptions during this Empty the Shelters event.

We are partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation during their Empty the Shelters event to offer all dogs 6 months and older at reduced adoption fee of $50. All cats/kittens will be offered for adoption at a reduced fee of only $25… BONUS: Adopt a cat/kitten adoption at the reduced fee of $25 and get the second one for FREE.  The BPF Empty the Shelters reduced adoption event runs from October 2nd – October 15th. We will be open for extended hours on Sunday, October 15th from 12:00 – 3:00 pm for adoptions ONLY.

We are at critical capacity with 230 pets in our care, more than double our daily average of 110.  New pets become available for adoption each day so visit our adoptable pets tab Adopt – Franklin County Humane Society (fchsmo.org) or stop by our shelter to meet your new best buddy!  Adult Cats housed at Petco and PetSmart in Washington, MO, and Petsense in Sullivan MO, are eligible for the $25 reduced adoption fees.  Adult Cats and Dogs housed at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO are also eligible for this reduced adoption fee event.
