Adopt this dog, Merle.

Howdy there, my name is Merle. I am quite the sweet and gentle, calm and quiet little 25 pound Beagle boy. I think I am around 5 or 6 and came in as a lost pet, never to be returned to my home. But, hey, they did not come looking for me so I am ready to move on. Anyway, my health will improve tremendously because I was not given heartworm prevention or neutered by my previous people. As a result, I will get neutered after I finish with my heartworm treatment. You see, I have heartworm, but I am on the treatment program and doing well.

I am very excited about the idea of having a new home! I want someone who will love me a whole lot, who will give me lots of attention, take me on walks and adventures with them and who will treat me as a part of the family. I will not let you down for this.

Wags and kind looks,

Adopt this cat, Peaches.

Hello, my name is Peaches. I am a very attractive long hair calico 2 year old lady. I was brought to the shelter by the police because they found me and I needed some medical attention. I am now perfectly healthy and would love to have a home now.

I am very good with other cats and enjoy spending lots of time lounging in a cubby hole here at the shelter. If you have a nice sunny window and soft round bed for me, I would like that very much. I believe that I would be good at lap napping and watching you do your chores, I don't think I would be very interested in helping you with your chose, though.

If you are looking for a nice gentle companion and at the same time, helping give an animal a second chance at a good life, then please come to see me!

Love and purrs,

Did you know?

  • Did you know each day 70,000 puppies and kittens are born in the U.S. As long as these birth rates exist, there will never be enough homes for all of these animals. Please Spay and Neuter your pets, and help save lives and end needless suffering of these pets. We offer low-cost options for altering your pets.
  • Our dogs travel every Saturday to area PetSmarts and Petcos with our mobile adoptions. This helps get these pups more visibility in the community, and gives them more of a chance at finding their forever homes. Please check our calendar for locations!
